Actress Alice Evans has taken to Twitter to claim that she has been “ghosted” by her estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd, 48, for nearly a year. Posting a thread about the current status of her relationship with the Titanic actor, the handbag designer, 50, claimed that “the love of her life and best friend” suddenly “ended their marriage” and then went on to “ghost” her, despite being married for 13 years.

The couple split earlier this year and the blonde beauty hasn’t been shy about airing the status of her relationship on social media.

In view of her 28,400 followers, the mother of the former couple’s two children Ella, 11 and seven-year-old Elise, branded her husband “disingenuous” following their shock split.

Alice wrote: “I did my fair share of crying, screaming, accusing.

“I begged and begged for at least some sort of running discussion, for the kids sake.

“That’s my way of reacting to such a life-changing event.

“So he ghosted me. I have been ghosted for almost 10 months now,” she added.

Alice continued: “And I have been living like this, alone, in a pandemic, for 9 months.

“I still dont know why the love of my life and my best friend suddenly decided to end our marriage and then ghost me.”

The star also claimed that her estranged husband had asked her to “sign a legal document” admitting that it was her “fault” that the Liar actor “couldn’t get any work”.

Alice branded Ioan “devoid of empathy” before declaring that she was “done”.

She continued: “Lastly, if you read this and feel anger or upset towards ME for sharing, that’s ok.

“For me, as some of you will know, this was a case of the drop that overflowed the glass.

“For others it must have come as a bit of a shock, or a strange thing to do. I totally understand,” she ended her post.

Addressing her posts, Alice thanked her fans for their “kind replies and support”, before branding her thread an “act of desperation”.

In March, Alice admitted that she was unaware that her actor husband had filed for divorce, after reports emerged about his decision.

According to The Blast, Ioan reportedly filed the legal papers to get a divorce from his wife at Los Angeles Superior Court.

Taking Instagram after the news emerged, Alice shared a screenshot of the reports in view of her 56,000 followers, as she penned: “Oh. Ok. Thanks for letting me know. I guess?” followed by a teary-eyed emoji.

Alice previously told her Instagram followers the couple were having conversations about a legal separation.

She explained at the time that despite their split the couple had remained “friends”.

Ioan and Alice tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mexico in 2007 after meeting on the set of 102 Dalmatians seven years prior.

The actor previously gushed over his romance with his wife, saying it was “fantastic”.
