Andrea McLean, 50, excitedly revealed she had written her third and “most revealing book yet” on Instagram yesterday, a few days after taking herself off to a secluded island to concentrate. The Loose Women panellist told fans the book, This Girl Is On Fire: How to Live, Learn and Thrive in a life you love, is both “raw” and “powerful”.
Andrea’s social media post, which accompanied a video of her talking about the new release, read: “Hi everyone, I’ve had so many DMs after mentioning on TV today that I have written a new book, and I’m excited to be able to reveal the cover for you!”
Sharing a bit more information with her 270,000 followers, the mum-of-two continued: “It’s called ‘This Girl Is On Fire: How to Live, Learn and Thrive in a life you love’ and it’s available to pre-order NOW, so click on the link in my bio to buy!”
Andrea went on to say that her new book was the most “raw” she had ever penned.
The empowering read talks about “breakdowns” and “toxic relationships” among other things.
She added: “This is my most raw, open and POWERFUL book I’ve ever written.
“I talk about overcoming toxic relationships, burnout and breakdown; how to figure out what you want and go get it, how to love your beautiful self and live a life you love.
“It’s for any woman who has ever doubted herself or been told she couldn’t. I’m here to tell you YES YOU CAN. #thisgirlisonfire #livelearnthrive #empowerher.”
Just last week, Andrea needed some “time and space” to “think straight” and took herself off to a secluded island off the Cornish coast to be completely on her own.

The Loose Women host, who is married to Nick Feeney and has two teenage children from previous relationships, said her time in the Scilly Isles was a “week of firsts” and gave her time to “move to beat of her own drum” and find herself.
The TV star detailed her trip online along with a few pictures from her getaway.
Andrea candidly wrote: “It was my first time going away on my own, and my first time on Scilly.
“I hiked up hills, sat and stared at the sea, got caught in the rain, worked, ate, slept and did all of this in my own time.
“For the first time since I can remember I moved to the beat of my own drum. I remembered who I am, not just ‘what I do’.”
