She then breathed out and added: “I certainly don’t have abs today.”

Gabby also penned a lengthy captioned on her post, writing: “Today I was aiming to get before and after for my plan which starts tomorrow.. but breathing in was really uncomfortable so here’s the reality.. meet baby bloat! Isn’t he cute!”

She continued: “One of my New Year’s resolutions for us to show more “realness” on my Instagram.

“I do try to commit myself to being as real as possible with my posts but I have to be honest and say, I do sometimes worry as I do lack in confidence sometimes and compare myself to others.

“I worry that people will judge me for not being perfect- having a massive butt, washboard abs ALL the time, skinny arms etc.. Especially being a trainer, I’ve read mean things about my body before- even when I’ve been feeling my best- that has made me feel like sh**.

“I too, see these perfect bodies & perfect lives but unfortunately not all of us can be perfect! Nobody’s perfect, I don’t actually believe these people are, EVERYONE has their hang ups!”

She added: “When I am not entirely body confident I try not to give myself a hard time but sometimes I do beat myself up, then I get back on the band wagon and get back to feeling myself! & THIS is what I teach and train others to do too.

“I practice what I preach to myself AND to others. We all fluctuate and have peaks and troughs and that’s OK!!”

Plugging her new plan, she ended the post with: "It’s safe to say LDSU3 has come right when I needed it!

"And it seems many more of you did too! Thank you to everyone who is signed on to the next four weeks! Let’s get kick 2021’s January Ass! #shapeupwithgabbyallen."

The personal trainer was flooded with praise from her followers. One wrote: “This is so refreshing to see and read. Thank you for being you! More posts like this are definitely welcomed. You’re amazing.”

Another said: “So refreshing THANKYU for this,” while a third added: “Honestly Gabby, it's great for people to see both sides – we all have days of our equivalent of both, and I feel much better when I see its reality for people like you, in the nicest way.”
