Television personality Whitney Port got her start in the world of television on the unforgettable reality series “The Hills” in 2006 (via IMDb). The Los Angeles native landed her spot on the series after applying to an internship at Teen Vogue. Port initially wasn’t interested in becoming a reality television star. However, she was open to the idea of it because she wanted the internship. She told Entertainment Tonight, “I was like, ‘OK, let me think about this. So, I did some good, long, hard thinking and I was like, alright, I’m down … Next thing I know, someone from MTV is calling me, and telling me that I need to get a casting tape.”
Port proceeded to have her on-camera interview at Teen Vogue and ended up getting the job at both Teen Vogue and MTV. She proceeded to work at Teen Vogue for a few years and is still working in reality television to this day. After spending three years on “The Hills,” Port left the show in 2008 to star in her spin-off series, “The City” (via IMDb). She is married to businessman and television producer Tim Rosenman.

The series only ran for two seasons (via IMDb), but helped increase Port’s celebrity and advance her fashion career. In 2009, Port launched her fashion line which she dubbed “Whitney Eve” (via Us Magazine).
Port stopped working on her label in 2014, but has continued to work in the fashion industry. In 2020, Port collaborated with Rent the Runway to launch her 19-piece capsule collection. She told Page Six, “It’s been six years now, and I’ve just been itching to do this again; when I’m designing, that’s when I feel the most me”.
The designer also runs her blog, which she uses to update her fans on her outfits and favorite beauty and lifestyle products. She also partnered with Dear Media to create her podcast With Whit. On her popular podcast, Port discusses fashion, wellness, parenthood, and all of the other facets of her life — she also brings in guest stars, including “The Bachelorette’s” Tyler Cameron, to talk all things pop culture. Port is very open with her fans on her Instagram account, which as of publication, has 1.4 million followers and has made a point to be very transparent about her experiences — she even opened up about her tragic miscarriage.
