Jamie Redknapp and Frida Andersson-Lourie, 38, tied the knot at the Chelsea Registry office in West London this afternoon as part of a low-key ceremony. Pictures of the newlyweds show the 48-year-old beaming for the camera as he held onto his new wife’s hands outside the venue.

For his big day, the football pundit opted for a smart dark blue suit with a matching tie.

Frida, a Swedish model and mother-of-four, wore a long-sleeved bardot dress which clung onto her blossoming bump.

Analysing the pictures from their special day, body language expert author Judi James said Jamie is doing his best to protect his new wife.

The author said the “mood” from the wedding group signifies that they wanted a “private event”.

On the newlyweds’ body language, she added: “Both Jamie and Frida have their eyes down and their facial expressions are unsmiling although that hand clasp is very telling in terms of the love and affection between them.”

Addressing the snaps of the ex footballer being the closest to the awaiting paparazzi, Judi added: “Jamie walks slightly ahead of his pregnant bride, with his hand on top in the clasp.

“He also has his wrist bent, suggesting he is determined to be a protective presence for her.”

She added to The Mirror that the soon-to-be father-of-three had “total pleasure and pride” as he broke away to grin at the cameras.

Their low-key ceremony was attended by his mum and dad Harry and Sandra Redknapp as well as his two sons Charley, 17, and Beau, 12, who he shares with ex-wife Louise Redknapp.

Jamie and Frida, who started dating in 2019, seemingly prefer to keep their relationship out of the public eye.

News of an engagement or wedding was not known beforehand and they are yet to discuss their baby news publicly.

The soon-to-be father-of-three shared his first picture with Frida on Instagram back in August during a trip to Santorini.

The couple’s baby is expected to be born in November.

After weeks of speculation, Harry confirmed the news back in May.

When asked about his soon-to-be new grandson or granddaughter, he said on Julia Hartley-Brewer’s talkRADIO show: “Yeah, great, I’m really pleased.

“It’s good news, so looking forward to that and it’s exciting times.”

Last year, he also said his new daughter-in-law is “lovely” but didn’t want to speak about her, out of respect for Louise.

He told The Sun: “We did meet Frida and she is lovely, very nice, but I don’t want to talk about Jamie’s new relationship.

“The last thing I want to do is upset Lou. It is upsetting that Jamie and Lou aren’t together. It was a complete shock.”

Jamie and Louise split in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.
