Chrishell Stause has opened up about her ex-husband Justin Hartley’s marriage to someone she knew “pretty well”. The star made the comments in the latest season of Netflix show Selling Sunset.
Chrishell was married to This Is Us star Justin for two years, before the pair split in November 2019.
The third season of the show focused heavily on Chrishell dealing with their separation.
Now the series is back for a fourth season on Netflix, the real estate agent has shared some more insight.
This comes as the show documented how Justin has since remarried.
He wed his former Young and the Restless co-star Sofia Pernas earlier this year.
This came after the pair were first linked in June 2020.
While out to dinner with Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae Young, Chrishell was asked if she’d heard the news.
The star then admitted: “I feel like the world heard that.”
The actress then elaborated on this in a confessional interview on the show.
She said: “My ex-husband Justin is remarried to someone I know from back in the day, pretty well.
“And a lot of things made sense after finding that out.
“I wish them the best. You know, I think that it actually, if anything, it felt good to know that.
“It felt like a little bit of closure,” she added.
Chrishell went on to add how she feels like she’s never been in a better place in her career, before adding how there is “no anger left”.
“If he wants to have 50 wives, like, go live your best life because I really feel like I am,” she added to her friends.
Express.co.uk has contacted Justin Hartley’s reps for comment on Chrishell’s remarks.
Chrishell has since found love again after their split with her Selling Sunset co-star Jason Oppenheim.
The pair revealed their romance back in July when they went on holiday together.
Posting on Instagram, she shared some images of their pair kissing.
Opening up in October to Bustle, Chrishell admitted they went public as someone else was about to out their relationship.
She said: “We were about to get outed, so it was either I post it, or somebody else was about to post it.
“I just wanted the freedom to be able to hold my boyfriend’s hand.
“I knew it was going to be a thing.”
