Love Island bombshell Remi Lambert likes to go that extra mile when it comes to dating, which the ladies at the villa will be pleased to hear.
The ITV dating series revealed the 22 year old model from Manchester as one of two new boys that are set to meet their new housemates in Mallorca on Tuesday night's episode, following fellow bombshell Afia Tonkmor’s exit on Monday night.
Ahead of his Love Island debut, Remi described his dating technique as one of “prestige” as he confessed that he once took a date out to the most romantic city in the world after not knowing her long.
“I took a girl to Paris once. I only knew her for two weeks and I thought ‘this girl is 10/10, I need to take her to Paris,’” the hunk revealed.
Despite the impressive dating location, Remi coined himself “single AF” as he admitted that he is “too picky”, and is in search of a love like former Love Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury when he enters the villa soon.
Standing at a tall six foot three, the model is also on the lookout for a woman that can match his stature, as he said: “She needs to be 10/10 for everything. And I’m 6ft3”. I’d like a girl to be at least 5ft10”.
Remi has met his past dates in various settings, from the club to Instagram, however he opened up about these romantic experiences never amounting to substantial relationships.
“Recently I’ve been going on a lot of dates but I feel like now it’s time to find something more serious,” he said.
“I usually meet girls out and about on a night out. If I see a girl I like, I’ll just go over without hesitation.”
Before heading to Mallorca, the handsome new Islander addressed himself as “laidback” when it comes to competition from other men, showing confidence in his appeal which might work for him well in the villa.
Remi continued: “I’m quite laid back but it’s happened before where I’ve been in a club and guys have tried to move to a girl and I’m like ‘If you want to chat to her, you can chat to her but I’m going to do my thing.’ I always win!”
The model mentioned having the “ick” for a girl who is “always out” and showed he has a softer side, as he labelled himself a “family oriented” guy who likes to indulge in trips with his loved ones whenever he can.
