Love Island viewers noticed Liam went missing’ before his shock exit was revealed

Love Island fans noticed that contestant Liam Llewellyn went “missing” on the show ahead of his shock exit announced on Friday.

The 22 year old has reportedly quit the ITV series after just four days and is said to have revealed his decision to his fellow Islanders in scenes that are due to air on the show tonight.

Love Island viewers pointed out Liam’s absence from the show ahead of the news following his two dates with bombshellsEkin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, and Afia Tonkmor, 25, after the pair showed interest in other castmates upon entering the villa.

Liam was dismissed by the ladies as their heads turned to the likes of Italian hunk Davide Sanclimenti, 27, and Andrew Le Page, 27, and Ikenna Ekwonna, 23, and appeared to suitably vanish from the screen fans observed after his return to the house.

“Wait where did Liam go? He's been missing since them dates. Is he OK?" one watcher commented on social media.

"MISSING PERSON: Looking for Liam, went on a date with to women and haven't seen him since. #LoveIsland,” a second fan joked.

“Has Liam gone missing?? #LoveIsland,” another viewer posted, as someone else added: "MISSING: LIAM where has he gone after those dates? #LoveIsland".

Liam’s surprising departure announcement is set to be revealed to the Islanders around the show’s infamous fire pit — where shocking confessions have been known to take place in the past.

The former contestant is seen in a preview clip of tonight's Love Island episode leaving his housemates shocked after his life-changing revelation to them, which is claimed to be his exit announcement from the show.

"The reasons behind it are unknown so viewers will be glued to their screens tonight to find out,” a source told The Sun.

ITV declined to comment on the matter when contacted by OK!.

In the preview clip, the Islanders are shown sat around the fire pit ahead of the re-coupling right before Liam is expected to make his exit confession.

“I think we need to have a chat, we need to get everyone by the fire pit,” he says, leaving his housemates looking confused.

Liam was the only single Islander in the villa at the time of his reported departure, after losing his partner Gemma Owens to Davide earlier this week.
