Olivia Rodrigo stole the show at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, winning seven awards at the ceremony held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The teenage sensation won the awards for Top New Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Billboard Global 200 Artist, and Top Billboard 200 album for her debut, Sour.
Ye was the best achiever in male category, winning six awards. The rapper, formerly Kanye West, swept top artist, top album and top song awards in both the gospel and Christian categories.
Drake won five awards, including top artist for a record third time, top male artist for a record third time, top rap artist for a record fourth time, and top rap album for a record third time, for Certified Lover Boy.
Taylor Swift won four awards, including top Billboard 200 artist, top country artist, top country female artist and top country album for Red (Taylor’s Version).
It was the record-extending fifth time that Swift became the winner in the top Billboard 200 artist category.
