GMB: Pamela Anderson talks about veganism with Piers

Piers Morgan, 55, reacted to ex-Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, 53, after she spoke candidly about the benefits of veganism. The Good Morning Britain presenter addressed the former Playboy model who suggested going vegan could potentially increase your stamina in the bedroom.

In view of his 7.7 million followers, the ITV favourite took the opportunity to react to Pamela’s candid post.

She claimed cutting out meat, eggs and dairy from your diet could improve your sex life.

Pamela wrote: “Vegans make better lovers. The cholesterol in meat, eggs, and dairy causes hardening of the arteries (and not much else).

“It slows blood flow to all the body’s organs, not just the heart. You can improve your overall health and increase stamina in the bedroom by going vegan.”

Piers retweeted Pamela’s message as he replied: “Want to test that theory?”

Fans inundated the post with comments, as many people questioned the American-Canadian actress.

Pamela’s vegan theory, as a social media user commented: “What am I actually hearing?”

Another person quipped: “I beg to differ. Non-smokers make better lovers definitely.”

“I wish it was that simple! Not denying that a healthier diet improves a lot of things,” a third added.

Pamela, who initially gained fame by starring in the hit TV show Baywatch, is a longtime animal advocate.

The model and actress has been a vegetarian since she was a teenager and is now a vegan.

Meanwhile, Piers has previously addressed losing his lockdown weight as he revealed his wife Celia Walden took control of his diet.

Taking to Instagram, the GMB host shared a photo of sushi prepared by his other half.

In view of his 1.3 million followers, he penned: “I like sushi, don’t get me wrong. But more as a canapé than a lose-the-lockdown-lard ‘dinner’ @celia.walden.”

The ITV favourite previously addressed his weight loss which he claimed to have been “shamed” into by his co-star Susanna Reid.

Piers said: “Susanna calls me ‘Chubster’ and ‘Fatso’.

“Even Dr Hilary piled in, and he’s a doctor! He said, ‘at least I’m not overweight,’ and cackled like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

“And Kevin Pieterson calls me ‘seven chins’, which isn’t very nice. I’m trying to get them down to six.”

He continued to The Sun: “I’m going to see a new personal trainer, and unfortunately Celia’s taken it all quite seriously, so suddenly it’s all the good stuff’s gone and all the kale’s come in and the quinoa and vegetables. A lot of vegetables. A lot of salmon.

“A lot less Bordeaux – I’m down to one glass a night.”
