Rebekah and Jamie Vardy to write and release children’s book in 2022

Rebekah Vardy and her footballer husband Jamie Vardy are making a major career move and teaming up to write and release their first children's book together in 2022, according to reports.

The couple, who have been married since 2016, will be using their busy and varied experiences as parents to create the new project.

Jamie, 34, and Rebekah, 39, share daughter Sofia, seven, Finlay, four, and toddler Olivia together.

Rebekah also has daughter Megan, 16, and son Taylor, 11, from previous relationships, while Jamie has five year old daughter Ella.

Leicester City pro Jamie made the decision to adopt Rebekah's eldest child Megan in 2016.

A source told The Sun that the couple have already signed a "deal" to release a new book early next year.

"Jamie and Rebekah have been working on it for quite some time now," the insider told the publication.

"With six kids between them aged 2-16 they have years of experience when it comes to bedtime stories!"

The source went on to say that the Vardy duo are so experienced in bringing up children of different interests and hobbies that they are also the perfect candidates to give a new kids' book a go.

"They know exactly what kids love to read about and how to get them excited about reading," the source added.

Former Dancing On Ice star Rebekah has been focused on other things recently as her feud with former close friend Coleen Rooney continues.

Rebekah is currently suing Coleen for libel after the fellow WAG claimed her old friend had been selling stories about her to The Sun.

Rebekah denied the claims and is locked in an ongoing court case with Coleen, 35, who is married to Wayne Rooney.

A High Court judge recently ruled for Jamie's devices to be searched amid his wife's court case.

Jamie and Rebekah have previously ruled out adding even more children to their huge brood.

Jamie said at the time: "Who knows what the future holds?"
