I'm a Budweiser employee and we have to take an aptitude test in order to work – would you be able to pass it?

BUDWEISER employees reportedly have to pass an aptitude test in order to work for the company, it's been revealed.

The aptitude test is apparently in addition to other job requirements, such as being able to lift 50 pounds or being of legal working age.

Anheuser-Busch, the company that owns brands such as Budweiser, Michelob, and Beck’s, requires potential employees to complete the aptitude test during the application process, a recent article revealed.

The purpose of the test is to assess applicants on their logical thinking, verbal, and numerical reasoning and to see if they are a fit for the position, the website Eat This, Not That! reported.

“This style of test assesses a person’s ability to use their skills for analytic and managerial positions, as well as ones that require high levels of critical thinking and problem-solving,” read a description on the Assessment Centre website, which offers a study guide for the Anheuser-Busch test.

In the exam, you will be asked multiple questions to test your logical reasoning, forcing you to think about problems in unique ways.

According to the website, the logical reasoning section will require more studying than the others due to the wide range of questions you could be asked.

Verbal reasoning is often referred to as a comprehension test, which analyzes your ability to read something and understand it.

Practicing this skill can help when working in a fast-paced environment, such as Budweiser. According to Assessment Centre, this section is taken heavily into consideration when looking at a potential applicant.

Numerical reasoning is fairly straightforward compared to the other sections. It features basic math problems with multiple choice answers.

“Using elementary math and applying it to adult-level situations is the main idea for this section,” the website reads.

Lastly, a section dubbed “cultural fit” reportedly aims to see if your personality matches the values held by Anheuser-Busch.

“While this is a personality test, it’s not meant to be invasive. It’s meant to see how you could potentially fit in among other employees at the company.”

These questions ask about your work preferences, styles of leadership, and how you interact with others.

In order to “study” for this section, it’s best to look at the company’s values and see if they align with your own.

“You are putting in a lot of effort for the position you’re applying for, so being prepared and knowing everything that is required is a must to qualify for employment with the company,” Assessment Centre wrote.

The Sun contacted Anheuser-Busch on Monday for more information about the aptitude tests but has yet to hear back.
