A ROYAL expert has claimed that Lilibet won’t be christened in Windsor Castle following Prince Harry’s bombshell book announcement.
It has been revealed that the Duke of Sussex is bringing out a memoir, timed for release in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.
Royal author Robert Jobson said on Twitter in response: “Prince Harry is writing a memoir. The script will be handed in in October.
“It will be published by Random House. I’d say the Windsor Christening of ‘Lilibet’ with the Queen present might well be off!
“Unless ‘H’ intends to combine it with a book signing tour of the UK that is …”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly want their baby daughter Lilibet to be christened in front of the Queen at Windsor.
Harry and Meghan's son Archie was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury at St George's Chapel, Windsor, in July, 2019.
Meghan made sure the christening was a “completely private affair” attended by just 22 guests, according to the couple's unauthorised biography Finding Freedom.
It will be published by Random House. I’d say the Windsor Christening of ‘Lilibet’ with the Queen present might well be off!
The Sussexes' hopes for a royal ceremony are said to have been expressed during Harry's UK visit for the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue.
It would be Meghan's first trip to the UK since last year's Megxit when the couple left for the US.
A source told The Daily Mail: "Harry told several people that they want to have Lili christened at Windsor, just like her brother.
"They are happy to wait until circumstances allow."
It comes after a row over whether Harry and Meghan asked the Queen if they could use her private nickname Lilibet for their baby girl.
Earlier this month, Harry and William stood side-by-side at the unveiling of their mother's statue at Kensington Palace.
The pair laughed and joked together as they came face-to-face for the first time since Prince Philip's funeral in April.
But relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family are tense after their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview in March.
Senior royals were blindsided by the news Harry had been writing the sensational book in secret.
Harry delivered the announcement on the first day in 15 months that Clarence House announced Charles and Camilla were on a public engagement.
The Sun broke the news to Clarence House aides while Charles was at a reception in Lostwithiel, Cornwall, at 6.30pm.
It was clear aides had no idea the book was being written or even being announced. One said simply: “Oh gosh.”
Prince Charles was said to have been “surprised”.
A spokesman for Harry said he told his family including the Queen about the book only “very recently”.
But an insider said: “Harry scrambled to contact his family only when he knew the story was coming out — just moments before it became public.”
Buckingham Palace has been contacted for comment.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles ‘surprised’ by Harry’s explosive tell-all memoir as Palace officials had no idea about book.
