Mrs Hinch fans share a 29p hack to get your TV screen streak-free and clear in a flash

THOSE who clean – or at least attempt to – their TV regularly will know how frustrating it can be to find stubborn streaks that just wouldn't go away.

Luckily, fans of the cleaning sensation, Mrs Hinch, have shared a cheap solution for this, promising a ''streak-free'' finish, the Express reported.

Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, 32, has long been a favourite amongst fellow cleaning enthusiasts, with close to 4.5 million followers on Instagram.

The star rose to fame a few years ago with various home hacks and now her fans have even started dedicated cleaning pages on social media.

In one such group,  Mrs Hinch Cleaning tips and tricks on Facebook, a member sought advice:  “Hey Hinch fans. What’s the best way to clean a television?

As TV screens are positively charged, dust particles will instantly stick to it when flying near.

But oftentimes when attempting to get rid of them, the cleaning products will leave leftover smears all over the surface, making for a dirty appearance.

Luckily for Laura Cook, the author behind the post, there were dozens of members who shared their top tips in the comments.

“I would try using a mixture of vinegar and washing up liquid in a bowl with warm water,'' read one of them.

Ellie McDonald joined the discussion and said: “White vinegar and dry with an old newspaper, leaves it sparkling.''

The gentle cleaning solution of water and white vinegar, the members of the group claimed, can help to remove any dirt and dust.

Alice Tinston said: ''Two minute job is using white vinegar and water, can add some washing up liquid if you want but it’s not needed.

''It leaves a streak-free finish every time on windows and screens, works wonders.''

Adding a little washing up liquid will also leave a nice and fragrant scent in the room, as well as remove any large fingerprints and greasy smudges.

Some fans of Mrs Hinch recommended using the Minky M Cloth Glass & Window, which can be used on its own to clean.

There were also a few members who advised the cleaning fan to steer clear of window cleaners or glass cleaners as these could harm the TV screen.
