Sillage Hones Its Craftsmanship With Second Fall 2020 Drop

Sillage has just unveiled the second drop of its eclectic Fall 2020 collection. Following its first drop from last month, which mainly focused on textures, the new lineup continues to spotlight the label’s penchant for characteristically tailored layers, this time with a special emphasis on craftsmanship.

Featured is a variety of large silhouettes like oversized peacoats, corduroy blazers, chore coats, trench coats, hoodies, elongated button-ups, wide trousers and sweatpants, to mention a few. One noteworthy piece is an olive jacket that’s been embellished with an intricate quilted pattern. Originally sourced from India, the back of the jacket features a patchwork of vibrant pop colors, made with old quilts that date all the way back to the last century. The front of the piece is kept clean, with its sleek nylon shell, constructed with twin waist pockets and a wide cut. Another highlight is a black corduroy blazer that’s been detailed by hand with silver paint. Pieces like the blue peacoat made with subtle iridescent fabric, often seen on vintage British navy uniform; gray hoodies and sweatpants, cut from delicate loopwheeled cotton; hand-painted kung-fu shoes, embroidered jackets, extended trench coats and cropped trousers finalize the expansive range.

The second drop of Sillage’ Fall 2020 collection will be available on September 12 on the label’s website — prices have yet to be confirmed.
