You've been applying fake tan all wrong…tanning fans reveal how to prevent orange hands and get a nice glow instead

APPLYING fake tan can be a nightmare sometimes, which is why preparation is always key. 

Whether it’s bright orange hands, or streaks everywhere – what could first seem like a good idea, may lead to the body looking wild. 

And because of these dilemmas, people have been trying to work out how to have the best tan for years. 

So tanning fans, who go by the name of bBold Tan on TikTok, are here to save the day with their tips and tricks.

Captioning one of their videos, which has been viewed over 274k times, the girls wrote: “We all know someone with orange hands. 

“Here’s our top tips for the perfect hand tan routine.”

They then demonstrated exactly how fake tanners should be doing their glow ups which will help get the perfect ratio instead of ending up with bright orange hands.

The video had one of the girls holding up both arms so viewers could see the difference. 

Throughout the video, they had writing on top of the video.

It read: “Your hands aren’t supposed to be orange.

“So we’re sharing our hand tan routine.

“First apply moisturiser prior to tanning if you have dry hands.

“Use a body buffer to brush minimal product to hands in circular motions.

“Claw hands to ensure you don’t get white knuckles.”

And most importantly, the tanning fans advised that the timings of the body and hands are completely different.
