Anne-Marie is a successful singer with multiple of her songs having reached the UK’s Singles Charts. The songwriter is also a judge on ITV’s The Voice UK, alongside Will.i.a.m, Sir Tom Jones, and Olly Murs. The Voice UK’s final takes place tonight.

Anne-Marie is worth an estimated £5.4million, according to Capital FM.

It’s a whopping fortune that increased last year thanks to the singer making clever property investments and releasing hit singles.

It was reported that Anne-Marie made an impressive £1.7million in 2020 alone.

However, CelebrityNetWorth.com puts the singer’s net worth at a much lower value of almost £1million.

Anne-Marie was born Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson in East Tilbury, Essex, in 1991.

She started her career in the spotlight as a child, appearing in the West End production of Les Misérables when she was six, as well as the musical Whistle Down the Wind at the age of 12.

When she was nine, Anne-Marie took up karate and has a black belt in the martial art.

She won Double Gold in the 2002 Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association World Championships, Gold and Silver in the 2007 Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association World Championships, and Gold in the United Kingdom Traditional Karate Federation National Championships.

Anne-Marie’s big break in the music industry came in 2013 when she sang on tracks by Magnetic Man, Gorgon City, and Raized by Wolves, catching the attention of British drum and bass band Rudimental.

When one of Rudimental’s vocalists left, the band asked Anne-Marie to replace her.

She later featured on four tracks of the band’s album, We the Generation, and spent two years touring with them, performing at festivals such as V Festival in 2014.

In 2015, Anne-Marie released her debut EP, Karate, which led her to making her first solo live performances.

In the same year, the singer released the single Do It Right, reaching number 90 on the UK Singles Chart.

In 2016, Anne-Marie released Alarm – the first single from her debut album Speak Your Mind, which was released in full much later in 2018.

It reached number two in the UK Singles Chart.

During the same year, British electronic music band Clean Bandit released Rockabye with Anne-Marie as the main vocalist, and the song spent nine consecutive weeks at number one.

Since then, Anne-Marie has released other chart singles, including Ciao Ciao, which reached number nine, and Friends, which made it to number four.

Last year, Anne-Marie released songs from her upcoming second album, including Birthday, Her and To Be Young – the latter featuring American rapper Doja Cat.

In November 2020, a documentary entitled How To Be Anne-Marie was released by YouTube Originals, giving fans an insight into the singer’s personal life.

Anne-Marie became a judge on the tenth series of The Voice UK earlier this year, replacing Meghan Trainor.

The singer-songwriter keeps her personal life private, but she often posts images of herself wearing stylish outfits or relaxing in her London home on Instagram.
