Breastfeeding mum’s fake tan fail leaves baby boy ‘looking like Homer Simpson’

While her partner was out and her baby was asleep, mum Keziah Jozefiak decided to apply a bit of fake tan, to get ready for a meal out later that night.

However, after covering herself in some Bondi Sands fake tan, her five-month-old son Raf woke up and became very hungry, very quickly.

The baby is exclusively breastfed, so the 20-year-old parent didn't think twice about picking him up for a feed.

But shortly after he'd finished, she realised she'd made a bit of a mistake.

Keziah, who is training to become a mortgage advisor, couldn't stop laughing when she caught a glimpse of her little boy, who had a circle of fake tan covering his lips, the bottom of his nose and his chin.

His hilarious appearance reminded the mum of Homer Simpson's stubbled face in the cartoon show, The Simpsons.

She found it so amusing, she decided to share a snap of him on Twitter, where it went viral being liked more than 101,000 times.

Speaking about the fake tan fail, Keziah said: "When I looked down at Raf I just burst out laughing. I couldn't believe the tan had left his mouth looking like Homer.

"Raf was asleep so I thought I could squeeze in some tanning time but he woke up starving mid tan.

"It's the first and definitely the last time I feed him with my tan still on. It hadn't actually occurred to me that the tan could transfer on to him."

She continued: "I took a picture and sent it to my girl friends and they were all laughing as well. Everyone is finding it hilarious and my mum rang me in tears she found it so funny."

Keziah says she usually tans once a week but applies it in the evening so it never comes into contact with her son.

It took an hour for the panicked mum to remove the dark colour from her baby's face.

She added: "It took me a solid hour to get the tan off his face properly, but he found the whole thing hilarious.

"I used baby oil and baby wipes and he looked shiny and clean after.

"Fortunately, Bondi Sands tan is really good for your skin."
