Christmas lovers have been taking the trend for gonks further than ever by kitting out their homes with enormous human sized versions.
The Scandinavian gnomes, which are also known as nisse or tomte, have become the must-have festive decoration for 2020.
Homebase reports that there has been a 13,000% increase in searches for the little models – and everywhere from Aldi to John Lewis has been stocking them.
But, some mums have bypassed the usual models which are small and look great on windowsills and shelves for massive life-sized versions.
