HAVE you got a need, a need for speed? You might be too busy to sit down and play 90-ball bingo, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the game you love!
In this latest Brew, Biccy, Bingo, I took my usual budget of £10 and played in the speedy bingo rooms of Sun Bingo.
I defined speedy bingo rooms as “less than 75-ball games” and rapid bingo.

Was my playing fast and furious? Did I cut and run with my winnings? Was I going, going, gone with a big winnings pot in tow?
Let’s see how I got on!
I had PG tips, but with a twist! The box is a jubilee special and covered with corgis!
I used my ridiculously large toucan mug, combining my love of tea, the Queen, dogs and comical mugs in one hit.
Does it get better?
Yes. Yes it does get better. I’ve discovered that you can buy boxes of six mini Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and my life will never be the same.
I had a pink one with sprinkles!

The tea and sweet treat combo put me on a high – was it a good omen for my bingo session?
It was time to start my bingo-playing engine and find out.
- Cash Cubes
- Spent £2.50, won nothing
It was all systems go as I screeched into my first bingo room. Cash Cubes hosts 36-ball games, and you immediately get the sense of a faster game pace.
This session was a multi-price bingo game, meaning that that more you spent on your ticket (you can only buy one ticket per game), the greater your potential winnings.
The different stake values are 10p, 50p, £1 and £2, and the potential winnings for a full house go up to £75.
My session had the Cash Cubes Collection feature enabled. Depending how much you stake, you are given a coloured cube. At the end of the game, regardless of whether you won a prize, that cube is added to an overall tally. Once you reach 50 cubes of the same colour, you receive an instant cash prize.
This room is open 24/7 and despite there being approximately 700 chances to win daily, I wasn’t one of those winners.

- Rainbow Riches
- Spent £2, won 30p
My session may have been called “Charms of the Day”, but it didn’t provide me with any lucky charm!
This 40-ball bingo room has a lot going on. Not only is there the bingo games, but there are loads of extra features.
My session had the Wishing Well feature. This meant that by buying more than 4 tickets, I got assigned a magic number (which you can change).
If this number is called during the game, you get a gold coin. 40 gold coins and you get a £5 bonus!
My winnings came from a share of the bronze Rainbow Roads progressive jackpot. There are three community jackpots: bronze, silver and gold.
If the leprechaun lands on one of the pots directly, everyone with a ticket in that game wins a share of the entire pot! Had he passed over the pot, everyone would have still won, but that would have only been 50% of the pot, the rest rolls over.
MEET THE SUN BINGO CHAT HOSTS
- Mystic Meg
- Spent £2.50, won nothing
It felt like time to look into my future and see if the stars had an astronomical win planned for me!
This 50-ball bingo room has not one but TWO jackpots available. There’s the Mini Meg’s Jackpot which starts at £200 and the Mystic Meg’s Jackpot that pays out at least £1,500.
Both jackpots are split 50/50 between the full house winner and the players with tickets for that game.
What I love about this bingo room is how different it is to other rooms.
Not only is it exclusive to Sun Bingo, but also your ticket has bubbles with astrological symbols on, rather than numbers.
There are 360 guaranteed winners every day. One of which I saw win with the Aries symbol when I was only 1TG.
As an Aries, I felt slightly betrayed by my own star sign – Aries are supposed to be fiercely loyal!

- Rapid Room
- Spent £3, won £5.29
I zoomed towards the finish line, with my final pit stop being the aptly named “Final Furlong” session.
Tickets were 2p each so I played three games with 50 tickets in each game.
This 90-ball room puts the “go” in bingo, as despite being a higher ball count, the balls come quickly – so you best have that brew to hand!
The jackpot wasn’t triggered, which would have been cool to see as it’s currently over £6918!
However, I did share a win of the 2L with another player, so that was a nice £5.29 added to my winnings pot.
As the Free Tickets feature was enabled, you could play in this session for free if you had free tickets attached to your account. As they say, the best things in life are free…
WHICH CELEB WOULD YOU MAKE YOUR ROAD TRIP BUDDY?
Are you gonna bingo?
I used this session as a chance to explore some of the rooms that I don’t usually play in.
They had some great features that really added to the entertainment value.
If you haven’t raced over to our smaller ball-count rooms, I’d highly recommend them!
As is tradition, I found a little something to spend my winnings. Hold on to your hats, it’s time for:
- Pull back racing snails – £4.99
