I'm worried about finding work post-Covid – should I try modelling?

DEAR DEIDRE: I WORK in hospitality and I’m really worried about job prospects post-Covid.

I attended a male model shoot in London a few weeks ago.

It went well and I paid £1,000 to protect my photographs’ copyright but I’m worried I’ve been ripped off.

The agency said to contact them if I needed further help.

I have done but I’ve not heard back. I’m a 36-year-old guy.

A model-portfolio distributor has offered to forward my details to agencies free of charge due to my connection to the studio but I’m wary.

DEIDRE SAYS: I’m not sure you will ever get your money’s worth out of that agency but I see no harm in agreeing to have your details forwarded for free.

Just don’t pay any more money out to anyone.

There are unscrupulous people well aware of how many people are desperate to get into modelling. My e-leaflet Want To Be A Model? can help you be aware.
