Olivia and Alex Bowen moved into their dream £1million Essex home last year.

And the Love Island success story have wasted no time in putting their stamp on the sprawling property and have described their latest renovation as a “pinch me” moment.

The couple have recently revealed their master bedroom transformation in stunning before and after snaps to their home Instagram account, The Bowen Home, calling it their “pride and joy”.

Olivia and Alex shared a before snap of the huge room which featured high ceilings with dark wooden beams, white shutters and striped yellow wallpaper behind the bed.

The reality show couple enlisted the help of Rowen Homes to bring their visions of a gorgeous, tranquil space to life.

Captioning the transformation, the couple penned: “Because we all love a good after and before…God this one is a gooden!!!

“I hope you guys are ready for serious bedroom content… why does that sound like such an innuendo? YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.”

Taking a look at the gorgeous room, we can see that the couple have opted for a neutral colour scheme to create the illusion of more space.

The dark wooden beams have been painted white and the shutters have been removed to flood the space with natural light.

A huge king-size bed takes pride of place in the centre of the room and features a stunning fabric headboard along with a TV that is built into the structure for cosy film nights.

And the bed is decked with plush cushions and crisp white linen to perfectly complement a gorgeous chaise lounge in the same neutral hue.

The couple also have opted for a grey-wash wooden floor and added a huge cream rug to add a cosy feel to the space.

Adding light, two rattan shades hang from the gorgeous beams while matching white lamps flank the luxurious bed.

And the pair have also added shelving into the room to fill with an assortment of objects including books, candles and vases.

Olivia, who tied the knot to Alex in 2018, also posted a video of their bedroom to their 693,000 Instagram followers, captioned: “PINCH ME. So here it is; our pride & joy – our main bedroom sound ON for all the feels. AD Brand partner/PR project.

“I cannot even begin to explain what a dream this feels like, never in my imagination did I think we would have a main bedroom this beautiful & tranquil.

“If you know us, you know we love our sleep – so to have this room to go & hide & relax in is just another level. Every inch has so much beauty & I can’t thank @rowenhomes enough for their creativity, their focus & their kindness in this project.”

Olivia continued: “I have followed Rowen Homes since I started this account because you all said I would love her staircase (you were right, I adore Alice’s whole house) so when we decided to team up, I wanted to BURST with excitement it just was a perfect partnership!

“This room is so special to us, it was what made me cry when we viewed the house, I just knew it could be turned into something so magical.

“To have the help & guidance from Alice & her team – Rosie the incredible designer on this – was more than amazing. It has inspired me so much to keep learning with my interiors & make sure the rooms I design myself next are up to, or even just close to this standard!”
