Love Island’s Millie Court shows off dramatic two-tone colour hair transformation

Millie Court and blonde hair go together like the words peanut and butter. Now, it seems the Love Island star is keen to give her signature look an update with the help of a striking two-tone hair colour transformation.

Showing off her new tresses in a series of TikTok videos from the weekend, Millie can be seen looking incredibly trendy with a Miley Cyrus-inspired mix of dark brown and bleach blonde hair. In true Xtina Dirrty fashion, the darker colour is kept to the under sections of hair, while the light blonde sits over it on the front sections of hair.

Millie’s fans immediately spotted the colour change and were quick to tell the 25 year old how great she looks with the new look.

One fan wrote: “Hair is giving Hannah Montana,” to which Millie directly replied: “Miley is my muse always!”

A second asked: “Love the hair, how long is it staying for?”

Again, Millie replied to the fan comment: “I get bored quickly, so probably not long.”

Though it looks like Millie has recently made this colour transformation relatively permanent, she first experimented with the two-tone look for Coachella back in April. She surprised fans by adding extra-long and dark extensions to her tresses to attend the music festival, and referenced the fact that Xtina may have served as inspo for the look.

“Xtina who?” Millie captioned an Instagram snap where she showed off her festival style in all its glory.

“The hair is everything,” commented one fan, while another wrote: “Your hair is gorgeous long.”

“Giving us Bratz Chloe Rock Angel vibes,” a third said.

Millie dropped some details on how she achieved the look, mentioning in the caption that she wore Beauty Works clip-ins to achieve the two-tone blonde colour. She also tagged her hairstylist Jay Birmingham in the snap, thanking him for his work.

This time, however, it seems that Millie has been inspired to give the colour a permanent try as it doesn’t appear she’s wearing extensions to boost her mid-length hair, or to add the darker colour without committing to dyeing. She might not think that she’ll keep the colour for too long, but this two-tone trend is going nowhere this summer.

In fact, LookFantastic has just reported that Google searches for “two-tone hair” have risen by a whopping 733 per cent – alongside a 393 per cent increase in searches for “Miley Cyrus hair”.

Millie, you’re bang on trend!
