Medical student catfishes lad after he buys kinky nudes thinking it was hers

Imagine discovering your photos have been used in a fake profile on a dating app or sexual platform.

Getting catfished is a serious problem and it can happen to many people unfortunately.

One model was left mortified after a man reached out to her claiming he had a relationship with her through a sexual app.

Medical student Deia Cavalheiro revealed how the fella had bought nudes of her thinking it was actually hers.

She said: "He bought pictures of a person similar to me, thinking it was me.

"You couldn't see a face or tattoos, and he thought I owned the profile."

Deia said some photos he had were from Sexy magazine, in which she posed a few issues ago.

She added: "I don't have any nudes lying around. Just pictures from the men's magazine, in the other pictures it wasn't me."

A catfish typically avoids a real date and always has an excuse not to have a voice chat or even turn on the webcam.

So if a person you don't know adds you and maintains this type of behaviour you should be careful as it could be catfishing.

The model added: "They even asked him for money, impersonating me, he said he lost around 3,000 reais (almost £400)."

She said she feels bad for people who have been victims of catfishing.

Deia admitted: "I feel bad because of my profession as a doctor.

"Also because the magazine didn't bring me a good image, so much so that they use the photos to give blows. I really regret it."

This comes after a woman "catfished her boyfriend on the first date".

The woman, who calls herself "A", took to TikTok to share her "catfish" story.

She said: "I made a catfish account on Bumble because I was too scared to talk to guys, and ended matching with this guy.

"He asked (catfish) me on a date for drinks, so me and my pals went to the bar he was at, I approached him and started a chat."
