Student inspired by WAG feud wears ‘It’s… Rebekah Vardy’s account’ on outing

Maya, who attends the University of Liverpool, was on a night out in the Georgian Quarter for the Athletic Union, when she decided to wear her outfit.

The student was in need of a last-minute costume for a fancy dress party so decided to jump on the WAG feud between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy for inspiration.

Sharing a snap of herself on Reddit, Maya joked: "My half a**ed fancy dress turned out to be pretty popular last night."

She wore a leather skirt with top, holding a "It's… Rebekah Vardy's account" cardboard around her neck.

Since she shared it on the open forum two days ago, Maya's post secured hundreds of comments and 645 upvotes from users.

Maya's outfit referenced the social media feud between the wives of Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy which started earlier this week.

The student explained how last minute her costume was in the comments as people asked her what exactly she was supposed to be.

One wrote: "What are you actually dressed as though? Coleen Rooney's tweet? The orange warpaint is confusing me."

Another added: "I love your attitude towards all of this, makes it even funnier."

When explaining to Reddit users about her outfit, Maya said: "Hoped everyone would recognise the sign alone so I could just wear normal clothes out rather than dress up even more.

"And the make-up, I don't even know."

This comes after Coleen believed her friend had been leaking stories after a number of private Instagram messages ended up in the papers.

The 33-year-old posted a string of fake stories to her account, including her most recent that her Cheshire mansion had been flooded.

Then in a dramatic reveal, Coleen ended the statement, to which she shared to her 1.3 million Twitter followers, writing: "It's… Rebekah Vardy's account."
