Will Smith has wasted no time getting back on his gym grind.
On Thursday, the 52-year-old actor — who recently admitted he’s in the “worst shape of [his] life” — shared a few snippets of his grueling workout regimen on Instagram.
At the beginning of the clip, Smith is seen standing on a rotating pedestal. As the video continues, he’s shown lifting weights at the gym.
The Oscar nominee captioned the post, “The Pursuit of Happyness” in a nod to his 2006 movie of the same name, which his son Jaden Smith also starred in.
Earlier this month, Will — who has bared his muscles for past action films such as “Independence Day,” “Bad Boys” and “Suicide Squad” — said that he wanted to “FEEL better” after gaining weight during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry. I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better,” he posted to Instagram at the time.
“No more midnight muffins…this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!!” he continued.
Diplo, one of the 32 million fans who viewed Will’s post, jokingly replied: “This is staged.. Your gonna have abs in like 3 days.”
Sharon Stone, meanwhile, exclaimed, “GO GET IT BUDDY.”
Since posting his initial proclamations, the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum has continued to give fans an inside glimpse at his fitness journey, including a May 18 photo of him lifting dumbbells.
“Crazy that this photo was taken right before I picked up the big ones, dang,” he quipped.
