With a final heatwave expected this month and the sun already poking through in some areas, Brits are keen to squeeze out the last of the good weather this summer.

And what’s more refreshing than an ice cold and refreshing beverage to cool you down whilst you’re catching those rays?

If you’re looking for new ideas to serve up to your guests at the next BBQ or gathering, a new launch is bound to wet your whistle and tickle your fancy thanks to a familiar favourite.

You may have heard of Jaffa Cake Gin, but now a second instalment of the distilled drink is available.

Passion Fruit Jaffa Cake Gin is the newest addition available to the gin repertoire. Whilst there's already Jaffa Cake Vodka (£22.95) and Jaffa Cake Rum (£23.95).

The 70cl bottle of Passion Fruit Jafa Cake Gin retails for £27.95 and can be found online at Master of Malt.

Each 70cl bottle has an ABV rating of 42% meaning this biscuit-infused boozy treat certainly packs a punch.

The exotic passion fruit variation of the classic Jaffa Cake Gin is distilled with fresh passion fruit, orange peel, cocoa powder, and real-life no-fooling Jaffa Cakes – doesn't it sound amazing?

On the nose you'll enjoy notes of clementine flesh and vanilla cake leading into tanginess of passion fruit; whilst the palate is prominent with chocolate, swiftly followed by a heaping helping of passion fruit juiciness.

To finish you'll be left with a bittersweet hint of passion fruit and orange peel, with the richness of cake carrying it all.

We spoke to the experts to help us find out how to make the drink for summer – a superb Passionfruit Martini, of course.
