    DANNY WELBECK is being handed the chance to revive his career with Turkish champions Galatasaray.

    The England striker has been released by Arsenal following an injury-hit season that saw him make just 14 appearances.

    Galatasaray expressed their interest in signing the 28-year-old last December.

    And the Istanbul giants are now sending vice-president Abdurrahman Albayrak to London this week for talks with the former Manchester United ace.

    ARSENAL are reportedly set to sign Brazilian starlet Gabriel Martinelli with the £6million deal to be “announced” soon.

    Brazilian outlet Globo claim the Gunners are close to agreeing a deal for the 18-year-old – who in 2017 failed to impress Manchester United in a trial.

    Arsenal are understood to have agreed a £6m fee with his club Ituano FC and expect to complete the formalities in the coming days.

    And it appears the forward has already started preparing for life in England by following Arsenal on Instagram.

    HECTOR BELLERIN is set to miss the start of next season as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.

    The Arsenal defender, 24, underwent an op on his left ACL in January after being taken off in a match against Chelsea.

    Spain international Bellerin was originally ruled out for a maximum of nine months but there appear to be ongoing concerns about his progress, report the Evening Standard.
