  • CHELSEA starlet Reece James is the latest sports star to sign up with Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports management company.

The 19-year-old joins the likes of former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng on the client list.

And it's a real family affair – his sister Lauren, a forward on Manchester United's books and his dad Nigel, who runs a football academy, have also signed up.

Speaking about the move, Reece said: “Joining the Roc Nation family alongside my own family is a very special feeling.

“Family means everything to me, and I could tell from day one just how highly Roc Nation values it. I look forward to a great partnership with Roc Nation who will manage my off-the-pitch activities as only they can.

Lauren added: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Roc Nation family and the other impressive footballers they have on their roster.

“The Roc Nation team has been incredibly welcoming, and it’s special to be joining the family alongside my own.

“I am looking forward to our future successes on and off the pitch alongside them.”

  • CHELSEA loanee Mario Pasalic admits he “wouldn't mind” staying with Atalanta.

According to SportWitness, he said: “I would like to settle down, play in the same club for a few seasons.

“I am satisfied, I needed a club in which I would have continuity, to combine at least two seasons.

“Coach Gasperini is a top expert, we are one of the few Serie A teams to play offensively.

    “I can't influence Chelsea's decision, but I wouldn't mind staying in Bergamo.”

  • FRANK LAMPARD has hinted he could play Reece James in central midfield in the future.

As reported by the Metro, he said: “Right-back would be his favoured position.

“Whether it be there, right wing-back or right of a three.

“As he's coming into the team, you'd see him there but he does have that all-round game that he could handle playing centrally in midfield if needs be.”

  • CHRISTIAN PULISIC will not be the “next Eden Hazard”, says Nuri Sahin.

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder said: “Which player can be compared to Hazard? There is only a handful of players on the level of Hazard.

“As I know, Christian doesn't put himself under pressure to be the next Hazard.

“I spoke to him and he also doesn't have that pressure from the club, from his manager, so he will be OK.

“He will be a great player for Chelsea, but he will not be the next Hazard.”

  • MASON MOUNT has nicknamed Chelsea team-mate Reece James “the Beast” for his remarkable strength.

Mount, on-loan at Derby last season, admits that James is “very quiet” but it's still best to get out of his way in training.

He said: “Reece is a very quiet boy. I’ve known him for a very, very long time, since eight or nine years old at the Academy here.

“He’s a very good boy, always works hard, and he’s got tremendous qualities. He’s going to be a brilliant player for us now and in the future as well.

‘I call him the Beast, because he’s so quick, strong and powerful.
