£60million Sporting Lisbon sensation Bruno Fernandes is set to join by the end of the week.

The goalscoring midfielder, 25, is expected to agree a five-year contract worth around £100,000 a week.

Officials from both clubs met in London to thrash out a deal and the Sporting representatives have flown back to finalise the move.

Portugal star Fernandes signed a new deal at Sporting just SIX WEEKS ago — but sources felt he was still likely to leave.

He should provide United with a much-needed creative spark, as well as chipping in with plenty of goals himself.

He has scored 15 times and provided 13 assists for Sporting in 25 matches so far this season.

  • Manchester United could reportedly complete a deal for Bruno Fernandes within 24 HOURS.

Portuguese source A Bola claim the Red Devils are set to secure the Sporting Lisbon star's signature imminently.

It is reported that the Reds will fork out the full £65million asking price for him.

He has caught the eye of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after scoring 15 goals and making 13 assists from 25 games this season.

Marcos Rojo could be included in a deal with Sporting Lisbon for Bruno Fernandes.

The Argentina international, 29, has played nine times this season and is currently nursing an injury having played just one minute against Brighton in November.

According to O Jogo, the defender could be included in a deal to return bring £60million-valued Fernandes to Old Tafford.
