    LOOKING FOR LEE

Arsenal and Celtic are set to go head-to-head as they battle to sign Derby County youngster Lee Buchanan.

Reports by the Daily Record suggest the 20-year-old could be sold against Derby's will due to their transfer Embargo and financial situation.

Buchanan can play at the heart of defence or more naturally at left back, as well as further forward on the left side of midfield.

It also represents a low risk move for Mikel Arteta but one that could have a high reward.

    STRUGGLING

Granit Xhaka looked set for a switch to Roma.

But the Italians are now struggling to strike a deal to take the Swiss international from Arsenal.

La Stampa report that ‘everything has stopped’ as Jose Mourinho's clubaren't matching the Gunners' valuation.

The North Londoners want €20million (£17m) but Roma have yet to meet their demands.

    Exclusive

Arsenal are considering a move for Portuguese teenage winger Matchoi Djalo.

The 18-year-old would be available for around £1million and is seen as a long-term prospect by the North Londoners.

Djalo made his debut for Portugal top-flight outfit Pacos de Ferreira in August 2019, when he entered the game as a 72nd-minute sub against Benfica.

At just 16 years and 122 days, he was the youngest player ever to play in the Primeira Liga.

But his career has stalled since, making just five further appearances – three from the bench.

    SHAQ ATTACKS

Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri has told CorSport that the club won't stand in his way this summer as he gets set to depart the club.

He has been a bit-part player and has his eyes on a return to Italy.

Tying in with the Correa news earlier, Lazio are his club of choice and they may need to free up funds, should they wish to strike a deal.

I told Liverpool board I feel ready for a new challenge. They accepted my decision and will now consider bids to sell me. Liverpool won’t stop me this summer. “I’d love to come back to Italy, and I’d like to play for Lazio.

    CORREA RACE

Everton join Arsenal and Spurs in the race to sign Lazio ace Joaquin Correa.

The player has asked to leave Lazio this summer, with the club's transfer plans revolving around his sale.

Concrete offers are expected to be made for the 26-year-old, with offers around £40million set to be enough.

According to Corriere dello Sport, PSG's interest has cooled over the past few days.

    BIG-SPENDERS

It's unlikely we'll see any transfer this summer make this list…or is it?

Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba all well in the headlines.

    EDD'IN SOUTH

Arsenal look set to miss out on a move for Celtic's Odsonne Edouard, with Brighton poised to land the striker.

The Seagulls are likely now to wait until after the Hoops' Champions League qualifier with Midtylland in midweek.

That tie is poised at 1-1 after the Parkhead draw last week.

Crystal Palace are also credited with an interest in the £20million star.

    WHITE COMING

Arsenal are set to finalise a move for Brighton star Ben White this weekend.

The Gunners have chased White for much of the summer and had a £50million bid accepted earlier this month.

The defender then agreed personal terms before the move was delayed by his late call-up into Gareth Southgate’s final England squad for Euro 2020.

But the wait could be over soon since the 23-year-old is booked in for a medical this weekend, according to the Daily Mail.

That delay has been caused by White’s post-tournament holiday in the Greek island of Mykonos.

    GIVE ME A KESS

Arsenal – along with a host of Premier League clubs – are set to be disappointed in the chase for Franck Kessie of AC Milan.

Speculation has mounted over his future this summer with claims he told Milan to up his salary from £35,000 to £100,000-a-week.

Now Kessie appears to have quashed talk of a potential switch to England by declaring his desire to remain at Milan ‘forever’.

    He told Gazzetta dello Sport:

I want to stay at AC Milan forever.
I’m proud of this club and I’m not planning to leave AC Milan, absolutely.

    PARTY AT THE ISCO

The Gunners have received a boost with reports claiming Spaniard Isco could be available for £15million this summer.

The attacking midfielder played for Los Blancos last night in their pre-season defeat to Rangers at Ibrox.

He only has a year to run on his current Bernabeu deal.

And according to AS, Isco could go for what would be a bargain at £15million.

Arsenal are lining up a £40million bid for Chelsea ace Tammy Abraham after the striker struggled for game time under Thomas Tuchel last season.

That is according to the Daily Mirror, who claim that the Gunners are considering a loan move for Abraham.

The 23-year-old seeks more first team football as well as a pay rise to his current £80,000-a-week contract.

The England international has previously confessed to being an Arsenal fan with Mikel Arteta reportedly eager to bring him to the Emirates as the Gunners aim to improve on last season's dismal eighth placed finish.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are set to finalise a move for Brighton star Ben White this weekend.

The Gunners have chased White for much of the summer and had a £50million bid accepted earlier this month.

The defender then agreed personal terms before the move was delayed by his late call-up into Gareth Southgate's final England squad for Euro 2020.

But the wait could be over soon since the 23-year-old is booked in for a medical this weekend, according to the Daily Mail.

That delay has been caused by White's post-tournament holiday in the Greek island of Mykonos.

And finally, Granit Xhaka’s move to Roma could be in peril as Arsenal and the Serie A giants are struggling to agree on a fee.

Xhaka has been linked with an exit from the Emirates during the summer transfer window with the Giallorossi desperate to sign him.

According to La Stampa, though, ‘everything has stopped’ because the Italian outfit isn’t matching the Gunners’ valuation.

The north Londoners want €20m (£17m) for the midfielder but Roma have yet to meet their demands.

    ISCO UPDATE

Real Madrid star Isco has 'opened the door' to leave the club this summer amid recent links with Arsenal.

The Spain international barely featured for Real last season under Zinedine Zidane.

With less than 12 months remaining on his contract, the 29-year-old is now looking for a new club.

Arsenal are still on the lookout for an attacking midfielder in the summer transfer window

    LACAZETTE PRICE

Arsenal won't allow Alexandre Lacazette to leave for anything less than £15million.

That's according to the Daily Mirror, who claim Lacazette is up for sale in the summer transfer window.

That is because the Gunners are raising funds for Chelsea ace Tammy Abraham, who has been linked with a loan move.

The France international has entered the final 12 months of his contract in north London

    LOC OUT

Juventus are set to hold fresh talks with Sassuolo over Arsenal target Manuel Locatelli.

That is according to Goal, which claim negotiations will take place within the next few days.

The Gunners have made an offer for Locatelli but the Italy international prefers a move to Juve.

Sassuolo, though, are demanding £34million for the midfielder, who has two years remaining on his contract.

    WILLOCK ALTERNATIVES

Newcastle are lining up potential alternatives to Arsenal ace Joe Willock.

That is according to The Athletic, who report the Magpies are eyeing Chelsea duo Ross Barkley and Conor Gallagher.

The Toon are interested in re-signing Willock from the Gunners, after the midfielder's impressive loan stint at St James' Park.

But Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has admitted he wants to keep the 21-year-old and thus Newcastle are looking elsewhere

    ARSENAL BLOW

Granit Xhaka's move to Roma could be in peril as Arsenal and the Serie A giants are struggling to agree on a fee.

Xhaka has been linked with an exit from the Emirates during the summer transfer window with the Giallorossi desperate to sign him.

According to La Stampa, though, ‘everything has stopped’ because the Italian outfit isn't matching the Gunners' valuation.

The north Londoners want €20million (£17m) for the midfielder but Roma have yet to meet their demands.

    LACA ON TARGET

Alexandre Lacazette may be linked with a move away from the Emirates but the Frenchman was on target for the Gunners in yesterday's pre-season friendly win over Millwall.

Calum Chambers, Nicolas Pepe and youngster Folarin Balogun were also on the scoresheet against the Lions after Arsenal's pre-season tour to the USA was cancelled due to positive Covid cases.

    BEN WHITE LATEST

Ben White's transfer to Arsenal seems to be just a matter of days away.

According to reports by Sky Sports the 23-year-old Brighton centre back is set to have his Arsenal medical on Wednesday ahead of a £50million move.

Bids of £40million and £47million were reportedly rejected before Arsenal finally got their man.

The England international who started 36 out of Brighton's 38 league games last season will add some much needed steel to what is a leaky Arsenal defence as the Gunners look to improve on a dismal eighth placed finish in the 2020/21 season.

    HAMMER BLOW

Arsenal target Manuel Locatelli is edging closer and closer to a move from Sassuolo to Juventus.

Goal are reporting that the two clubs are set to meet later this week to discuss a deal for the Italian midfielder who scored two goals at Euro 2020.

A £26million Juve bid has already been rejected but with an asking price of £34million a deal seems inevitable.

The news comes as a blow to Mikel Arteta who was reportedly keen to partner Locatelli with Thomas Partey in the Gunners midfield to help build a team capable of challenging for the top four.

A deal now seems unlikely though with Locatelli seemingly destined for a move to Turin.

    RAMSDALE BIDS

According to reports by Sky Sports, Arsenal's third bid for Sheffield Unite shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale is around £18million with a further £7million in add-ons.

Sky Sports also report that Arsenal have already had two bids rejected by the Blades for Ramsdale, who are holding out for around £30million.

£25million is likely to be the highest Arsenal go with their offers so there is not expected to be significant progress with this transfer any time soon.

    AINSLEY ON THE RADAR

Newcastle are not just keen on Joe Willock from Arsenal.

Reports suggest that Ainsley Maitland-Niles is also on Steve Bruce's radar along with Arsenal teammate Joe Willock.

But according to reports from the Daily Mail, Burnley and Southampton are also keen on Maitland-Niles.

The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom but failed to help the Baggies stay up as Sam Allardyce and Co. were relegated to the Championship.

    ISCO ON THE RADAR

Isco is a name that has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates for what seems like months.

And now the Express are reporting that Arsenal are ready to make their move as the 29-year-old enters the last year of his contract at Real Madrid.

With AS reporting that Isco is keen for a move away from the Bernabeu, a move could be on the cards for as little as £15million.

    BELLERIN PRICE SET

The Gunners have slapped a £17million asking price on right back Hector Bellerin.

Football.London are reporting that Serie A Champions Inter Milan are the favourites for Bellerin's signature, with other teams in Italy and Spain also interested in the former Barcelona man.

Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta even confirmed his interest in Bellerin, but no concrete offer is believed to have been made yet.

    AU REVOIR LACA

Arsenal will not be offering a new contract to Alex Lacazette and are inviting bids for their former record signing reports The Sun’s Mark Irwin.

French international Lacazette, 30, is now in the final year of his £175,000-a-week Emirates deal and will become a free agent next summer.

But the club have decided against extending the striker’s stay after previously being panicked into handing huge pay rises to Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Now they are trying to find a buyer willing to pay a fee in the region of £15million as well as Lacazette’s substantial salary.

    XHAKA MOVE IN DOUBT

Reports emerging from Italy are suggesting that Granit Xhaka's proposed move from Arsenal to Roma is now in serious doubt.

The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with Jose Mourinho's Roma for weeks now but it now seems the move may be cancelled.

Il Tempo are reporting that negotiations have stopped as Roma are unwilling to meet Arsenal's £17million valuation.
