Cheltenham November meeting: Will tomorrow's card go ahead after Cheltenham were forced to abandon today's racing?

THE November meeting is normally one of the highlights of the season, with the BetVictor Gold Cup and the Greatwood Handicap Hurdle leading the way on a cracking weekend.

This year the meeting was meant to return on Friday 15th November, but the course were forced to call off the opening day due to a waterlogged track.

What is the November meeting?

The November meeting is the first real chance for genuine Festival contenders to strut their stuff at Prestbury Park.

The BetVictor Gold Cup on the Saturday and the Greatwood and Shloer Chase on the Sunday are the highlights.

When is the November meeting ?

The three-day meeting was due to begin on Friday 15th November and finish on Sunday 17th November.

The main races are on Saturday and Sunday.

Why was Friday's card abandoned?

Officials had to abandon Friday's card due to a waterlogged track.

There will be an inspection at 3pm on Friday afternoon to see if Saturday's card can go ahead as scheduled.

How can I watch the racing?

Racing TV will show all the racing from both remaining days of the November meeting. Racing TV is on Sky Channel 426 and Virgin Media Channel 536.

ITV4 will show five live races on Sunday with the main ITV channel showing four races from the track on Saturday.
