DEREK CHISORA believes Anthony Joshua lost to Andy Ruiz Jr because he was distracted by "Latinos", and "chicas."
The boxing world was left stunned back on June 1 when AJ was floored three times on the way to a stunning seventh-round KO loss to Ruiz Jr.
And now Chisora, who confirmed he will be sparring Joshua in the lead up to his rematch, thinks he know what caused his fellow Brit to lose his focus.
Speaking to Seconds Out Chisora, who is next in action against David Price on October 26, said: “The only problem – Joshua trained, it’s only he trained in Miami, you know.
"He saw the Latinos, the chicas, the ladies.
“But this game we’re in, it’s how you come back is the most important thing."
Chisora has revealed that he will be in camp with AJ to help him "move around".
And being not far off Ruiz’ height, 'War' Chisora could be a benefit for Joshua when it comes to sparring.
Chisora added: “Yeah I’m going to help him, not yet, he’s [Joshua] asked me and I’ve told him I want to come down.
"I’ve said I want to come around with him but the schedules not been planned for one and another.
“But it’s going to happen, me and him are going to move around, I’m going to help him train and stuff like that for Ruiz."
Joshua was left stunned after his fight against Ruiz at Madison Square Garden in New York when the Mexican underdog was able to cause one of the biggest upsets in 30 years of boxing.
It also saw Ruiz Jr, who has promised to be EVEN better for the rematch, collect the WBA, WBO and IBF titles.
AJ and Del go way back to their days in the Finchley ABC and have never come close to fighting each other for real.
But 35-year-old Chisora has an October 26 clash with David Price booked and AJ rematches Ruiz on December 7 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
So Del Boy has done a deal to travel up to Sheffield to do his best impression of the unified Mexican champion.
