TIGER WOODS has joked about what Dustin Johnson will pick to eat at next year's championship dinner after his Masters 2020 win last night.
Woods, 44, made the joke under a picture he shared on social media of the pair after Johnson's emphatic victory.
He quipped: "Looks like we’re having sandwiches for next year’s champions dinner!
"[email protected] welcome to the club."
Johnson, 36, won the competition for the first time with a record-breaking five shot victory.
It wasn't all smooth-sailing for the American who almost blew his chance of victory when his four shot lead was cut to one just four holes into the final round.
But he held his nerve and managed to secure the win after previously losing at four Majors after leading.
His fiancee Pauline Gretzky may of given the motivation he needed as she cheered him on from the sidelines in her own green jacket.
To make his win even sweeter, the golf number one also beat the previous world record set by Woods to win the Masters.
Johnson finished the Masters 2020 on 20 under par with a total of 270 to beat the previous tournament record of 18 under set by Woods in 1997.
But Johnson will have a tough task to beat Wood's when he does pick of his choice of food at the Master's champions dinner next year.
After his win last year, Woods went all out this year with a mouth-watering michelin-star platter that included sushi for starters and steak for main.
His menu also included three desserts which consisted of churros with chocolate sauce, Mexican-style favourite sopapillas and a classic flan.
Johnson has previously made it known that when it comes to food his choices are a-lot more simpler.
When asked what he liked to eat at the Masters he said: "I don't know it it's really a tradition, but my favourite thing about the Masters is the sandwiches."
