Alexandra Burke splits from footballer Angus MacDonald after 15 months of dating and deletes him from Instagram

ALEXANDRA Burke has split from her boyfriend Angus MacDonald after 15 months of dating.

The X Factor singer, 32, has now deleted all trace of her ex from her Instagram account as they call it quits.

 "Alexandra and Angus both have busy careers and it's been hard to see each other during lockdown," a source told the Daily Mail.

"It felt like the best decision for them to cut ties and for Alexandra that involved removing any pictures of them together from her Instagram."

Alexandra and Angus confirmed they were dating when they were spotted out at Wimbledon together in July last year.

The outing came just weeks after she split from ex-fiancé Josh Ginnelly.

Alexandra and Angus had a challenging first year as the footballer, 27, was diagnosed with bowel cancer in August 2019.

The X Factor singer had been by his side throughout and insisted she would "always" be there to support him.

Angus was diagnosed with a blood clot in his leg in September 2018, which saw him pull out of playing football for nine months, before the cancer shock was confirmed in August.

He was finally given the all-clear from cancer in December last year.

But the couple weren't seen together for months and in March she sparked rumours she was dating Stormzy as she flew out to see him on tour.

Alexandra flew out to see the rapper's show in Warsaw, Poland, and set tongues wagging as the pair cosied up for a backstage snap.

Fans rushed to Instagram to comment on their relationship with one commenting: "The power couple we never knew we needed."

Another added: "Eeek…. they look hella close," while a third wrote: "Oooh!!!! Looking very cosy."

An insider exclusively told The Sun Online: "This is the first time they've met in person – she flew out for a mad 24 hours to see his show.

"They got on like a house on fire though, so who knows what might happen?"

The Sun Online has contacted Alexandra's representative for comment.
