'Axed' Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn makes £121,000 in two days from OnlyFans

Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn has made £121,000 on OnlyFans in only two days.

The actress, who portrays Mandy Richardson, parted ways with the Channel 4 soap following a dispute with bosses over her joining the subscription site.

Sarah, 40, told her followers that her aim in launching an account was to take back control of her image, and ‘choose empowerment’.

But a resolution was unable to be reached, and thus Sarah exited the soap. Hollyoaks told Metro.co.uk in a statement that they take their responsibility to their young audience ‘very seriously’, and therefore they do not allow cast members to be active on ‘certain 18+ websites.’

Fans, however, were disappointed in such a claim, calling the serial drama ‘hypocritical’, given that cast members used to pose for ‘babes’ and ‘hunks’ calendars.

Sarah, 40, said that she was ‘disappointed’ in Hollyoaks’ decision, but told The Sun that she’s was determined to ‘take a stand’ on the issue.

Her OnlyFans account, meanwhile, has made her £121,000 in two days. As reported in The Sun, Sarah had 12,000 likes on one of her posts, but since news of her Hollyoaks departure has spread, the figure had almost doubled to 23,000.

You have to be a paying subscriber in order to view, interact with or like a post on OnlyFans, meaning that – with 11,000 new followers – Sarah would seemingly have made £121,000, ending up with a total of £96,800, as the subscription platform deducts 20 percent commission.

The 40-year-old took to Instagram earlier today to thank fans for all the support and kindness she’s received in the wake of the news breaking, revealing that she’s been ‘overwhelmed’.

‘Hey everybody!,’ she said in a video she shared on Instagram Stories. ‘It’s been a manic, manic week but I just want to jump on here quickly and say thank you, thank you so much for all of your support.

‘I’ve been so overwhelmed by the response and how amazing you’ve all been and how reassuring, yeah, you’ve got my back. It’s lovely.

‘I just wanted to say a big thank you for the bottom of my heart and have a lovely Friday.’
