The Springwatch presenter spoke with Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard about being diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at the age of 40. The ITV presenters also interviewed Jonathan Swain and his daughter Immie, who had recently been diagnosed with autism.

Suze wrote: “Great job from Immie and Chris Packham talking about autism #GMB.”

“Seeing @ChrisGPackham on #GMB was great,” Marie tweeted.

“I was diagnosed later in life at 31 which meant I really struggled at school I have cerebral palsy so they just said it was that!  Thank you Chris for speaking  out about ASD  #autistic.”
