Bringing one of Corrie’s greatest romances to a crescendo, Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Carla Connor (Alison King) say “I do,” only for the groom’s ill health to leave wedding guests in a panic.
Elsewhere, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) is forced to decide between his blossoming romance with Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) and his career, as he suffers a conflict of interest.
And, Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) feelings for Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) get the better of him as he tries to patch things up with long-term partner Fiz Brown (Jenny McAlpine).
Meanwhile, Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) fears his son is slipping away from him, as his gambling demons threaten to return.
Below are the juiciest Corrie spoilers of the week – don’t miss an episode.
Heartache down the aisle
The Barlows turn up for a meeting with the transplant coordinator to discuss Peter’s chances of landing a liver transplant.
Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Adam (Sam Robertson) appeared in the meeting via Zoom call, but things quickly grow tense as Carla’s history of cheating becomes a talking point.
Tracy is uninvited to the wedding, leaving her raging, with Peter and Carla instead plotting a small ceremony in a local hotel.
Peter asks Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) to be his best man, but as they head to the venue, he staggers, leaving his family concerned he needs to be hospitalised.
At the altar, Peter and Carla say their vows, but the groom’s rapidly deteriorating condition is a cause for concern.
Will Peter survive his wedding day?
Faye prison terror
Faye and Craig head out on a date, but when they run into one of the policeman’s colleagues from the station, she spots a red flag.
Craig’s colleague, Jess, reveals his relationship with Faye could mean he will lose his job if she is ruled guilty at her upcoming trial.
Things take a turn for the worse when Craig learns Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) pleaded not guilty to attempted rape, refusing to own up to his evil actions.
Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and Faye are devastated, aware her odds of escaping jail time have been significantly reduced.
Will the court rule in Faye’s favour, or is she destined to do time behind bars?
The consequences of Cathy Matthews’ (Melanie Hill) trolling start to take over her life, as Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) asks her to stop working at the newsagents until the backlash subsides.
A nasty troll sends a funeral wreath to her home, and then another online user creates a deepfake video to harass her.
Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) tries desperately to report the trolling to the police, but a solemn Craig reveals there is nothing he can do to help her.
Cathy decides she has no option but to move away, as Brian begs her not to leave.
When Cathy suddenly vanishes, Brian fears for her safety, letting Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) know he plans to report her disappearance to the police.
Keeping tight-lipped, Elaine harbours a secret – does she know where Cathy has gone?
Despite Ed’s pleas to leave things as they are, Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) goes ahead with the paternity test, staring at the unopened envelope of results.
When Michael tells Ed what he has done., his dad is devastated, fearing he is losing his son to his brother.
Ed doesn’t come home all night and claims he was catching up on paperwork, only for Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) to reveal they had been playing cards.
A concerned Michael confronts Ed over his return to gambling, leading his dad to explain he was reluctant to return home to face him after the DNA test.
Later, Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) tells her son Ed has taken £1,000 from their account, with Michael and James Bailey (Nathan Graham) traipsing through bookies and casinos to hunt him down.
Has Ed spiralled back into the depths of his gambling addiction?
Love triangle liaisons
Tyrone confides he can’t get Alina out of his head, leading Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) to take him out for a consolatory pint.

Alina invites him around to the flat later, and Tyrone heads back to number nine, letting Fiz know he has the girls’ best intentions at heart.
