IT may only be the autumn, but the line-up for Dancing On Ice 2022 is already being released.
As well as confirmed celebrities, there are also lots of stars who are rumoured to be taking part.
Who are the confirmed Dancing On Ice contestants?
Returning to ITV in the new year, twelve celebrities will be taking on the challenge of Dancing On Ice.
Each week they will skate live with their professional partners in a bid to impress both the panel and the viewers who will ultimately decide who wins the show.
So far only a few names have been confirmed, with more set to be announced.
Bez – real name Mary Berry – shot to fame in the 90s as part of the Happy Mondays, but has since then made a name for himself on reality TV.
He won Celebrity Big Brother in 2005, he is known for Celebrity Gogglebox, and has even taken part in Celebrity MasterChef.
Speaking on This Morning Bez said: “At the moment it’s more like Bambi on Ice, not Dancing On Ice.
"How I got picked I don’t know because I was absolutely awful at the audition but they must have seen some potential in me!”
“I’m looking forward to learning a new skill and I can’t wait for the Christmas ice rinks again and I can get on there and really show off."
Coronation Street star Sally was the first celebrity to be announced for Dancing On Ice 2022.
Speaking to ITV's Lorraine the soap actress said: “Now everyone knows I’m doing it I can’t back out can I?! And I’m so scared!”
Asked if she’s skated before, Sally – whose daughter is Bridgeton's Phoebe Dynevor – said: “No never! I went with Hattie [her daughter] when she was little and I had a penguin and then thought this is too hard so I’ll go and get a coffee!”
Sheadded: “This is a massive challenge, Lorraine.
"It really, really is. I’m not getting any younger, I’ve just got to take every opportunity I get so that when I’m old I can say you know what? I gave it a go.”
Who are the rumoured Dancing On Ice contestants?
Denise Van Outen
Denise sadly had to leave Dancing On Ice early in 2021 after suffering a horror injury to her shoulder during rehearsals.
A celebrity has never returned to the ice two series in a row, but The Sun revealed how this could happen for DVO.
Her skating partner Matt Evers has discussed rumours she could be making a big return on the show.
He told us: "There’s been a lot of comment online for ‘Denise and Matt 2022’, they have never really done that before.
"At this stage we are just looking at next week, but there is a lot of support for Denise to do the show again next year. I would love that."
Reality star star Olivia has shown an interested in joining the show.
She would be following in the footsteps of fellow Love Island stars Wes Nelson and Maura Higgins.
"I’d love to do the jungle. I’d give Dancing on Ice a go, although it does scare me," she told RadioTimes.com.
"I’m a bit of a baby, so I don’t like getting hurt. I feel like the minute I fall over once, I’d be done. I know it sounds dramatic, but I’m just a bit like that."
Former Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon is another name that has been thrown into the mix.
Former DOI star and Lucy's ex-Corrie co-star Brooke Vincent would love to see her on the show.
She told the Daily Star : "I told Lucy Fallon that she should have a go, too.
"It’s mad how much support you get in your work place when you do something different, and that means a lot."
