Tonight, almost the entirety of Emmerdale’s residents headed to the church for Lisa Dingle’s funeral.
The long-standing character died recently and today her family came together to see her off.
Lisa’s daughter Belle (Eden Taylor Draper) was the first to read a touching poem in memory of her mum.
And it didn’t take long for viewers at home to share their emotions on Twitter.
Reading her poem, Belle said: “Stop the clocks, turn off the mobile phones, prevent the pigs from grunting, just let them roam.
“She was my best friend, she was my mum. But today I feel empty, I feel numb.”
Belle burst into tears but was adament she’d finish her words, saying: “I want to finish it for mum.”
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
