Emmerdale fans were more terrified than ever on Friday as they watched Meena Julta follow Victoria Sugden through the village in an attempt to meet up with the nurse’s boyfriend David Metcalfe.
Fans learnt of the evil nurse’s killer streak last month and now viewers are concerned Victoria could be next on her hit list as the spark between David and her continues to grow.
In an attempt to keep them apart, Meena kidnapped David’s son Theo to drive them apart but much to her disappointment the pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they shared an illicit kiss.
Ignorant of the danger she is in, Victoria has continued to try and pursue things with Meena’s boyfriend behind her back, blissfully unaware that the nurse has already murdered her old best friend Nadine as well as teen Leanna Cavanagh.
During the latest instalment of the hit ITV soap, fans were sat on the edge of their seats as Victoria did her best to get out of a girly night with Meena, Amy Wyatt and Priya Sharma.
But when David interrupted their latest round of shots, Meena noticed Victoria engage in a private chat with Amy in order to get out of the night’s activities.
Victoria successfully backed out of the night on the town in order to pay her respects to her late grandmother, but Meena insisted on keeping her company.
As Victoria laid white roses in the centre of a field, viewers were left with a shiver down their spine as Meena continued to giggle during the sombre moment, which she brushed off as awkwardness.
After she listened to Victoria’s touching story of how her grandmother was laid to rest, Meena asked if she would like to be buried there also before she joked about killing her friend Nadine when she “crossed” her.
But it was when she made a thinly-veiled threat about liking men who “are already spoken for” that Victoria became suspicious of the medical professional as she quickly made her way home.
During her walk back through the village, Victoria stopped by David’s house to reveal her feelings for him, unaware that Meena was hidden behind a parked car watching the whole interaction.
After Victoria was turned down by David and disappointedly ran home, Meena muttered to herself: “He love me, he loves you not.”
And fans soon took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the scheming girlfriend after she set her sights on her next victim.
One user wrote: “Omg she’s sounding scarier than ever,” while another added: “Meena is creepy and weird and none of the village thickos seem to see it.”
A third chimed: “So if Victoria sees nurse Rachet leaving the local DIY shop with a new spade she might need to get the hell out of Emmerdale for a while.”
A final user penned: “I’m scared of Meena and I’m at home nowhere near Emmerdale. Hope Victoria will be okay.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV
