Emmerdale’s Dawn murder confession, Jamie divorce plot, and affair ‘exposed’

Emmerdale bosses are making sure the drama is continuing all the way through lockdown, with more twists and turns each week.

Following DI Malone's murder, the truth is finally set to come out next week as Emmerdale spoilers reveal Dawn confesses to his murder.

But will she tell her dad Will all about his fiancée Harriet's sordid affair with the bent cop?

Meanwhile, Jamie Tate is still dealing with his estranged wife Andrea as he tries to carry on his relationship with Belle.

And Belle has problems of her own as the Dingle family aren't happy with her dating a Tate.

Dawn murder confession

Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is paranoid that he keeps seeing Malone (Mark Womack) hanging about, unaware that he's dead.

Dawn (Olivia Bromley) tries to calm him down but viewers will see him making a secretive phone call.

Later on, Dawn sees Will collecting a gun from an old friend and demands an explanation.

She reminds him what happened the last time a gun was brought into the house, but his panic shows no signs of calming down.

Later still, after reaching the end of her tether, Dawn confesses to Will that she shot and killed Malone.

Will is left reeling as he learns what happened to his old nemesis.

Harriet affair 'exposed'

While Dawn is struggling with her dad, Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) is dealing with her own guilt for her part to play in Malone's death.

She heads off on a religious retreat but later returns and her ex Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) finds her sobbing in the church.

Will she confess everything to her former flame?

After Dawn confesses to Will, tactfully leaving Harriet out of it, the vicar walks in on their conversation.

But will she keep herself out of it or admit her own involvement, therefore exposing the affair she was having with Malone behind Will's back?

And how would Will react if she did?

Jamie divorce plot

  • Emmerdale fans devastated as Annie Sugden dies in tragic death twist

Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper) is struggling with her family and is annoyed to hear Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) talking about her relationship behind her back.

Eventually, she's left in a panic when they reveal that there has been a new witness in Moira Dingle's (Natalie J Robb) hit and run case.

Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) tries to stay calm when Belle lets him know and she asks him how he can be so confident he won't be found out.

Soon though, they're interrupted by a phone call.

The next day, Cain has a go at Belle in public.

At Home Farm, Belle is shocked when Jamie tells her he's keen to push ahead with his divorce from his estranged wife Andrea (Anna Nightingale).

She is touched by his determination to get past it, but she worries that rushing the divorce will make Andrea react badly.

While they're talking it through, Andrea turns up.

How will she react to find out that Belle has already moved in and knows the truth about the hit and run?

And how will she take the news of Jamie's plan to push for a quickie divorce?

Could Andrea have already gone to the police about Jamie?
