The Eurovision Song Contest returned after a year-long hiatus thanks to the coronavirus pandemic putting a halt to the annual event. Singer-songwriter James Newman got his chance to shine at last after he wasn’t able to perform in the cancelled 2020 contest with a song called Embers. While it didn’t exactly go to plan for the singer, he has already established himself in the music industry, having written numerous well known hits. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about Newman’s career and the music he has had a part in creating.

All I Am – Jess Glynne

Jess Glynne shot to fame when she worked with Clean Bandit on Rather Be and Real Love in 2014.

Some of her other hits have included I’ll Be There and Thursday, and Glynne collaborated with Newman for All I Am.

The song featured on her second studio album Always in Between and was co-written by herself, Newman, Jin Jin, Frances and Carassius Gold.

All I Am came in at number seven in the UK charts and has been certified gold in Australia and Italy.
