I'm A Celebrity 2020: Two campmates voted off in another double elimination

Jessica Plummer and Russell Watson have left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in another double elimination.

During tonight’s instalment, hosts Ant and Dec revealed that two more celebs would be leaving the castle.

After arriving at the camp, it was a tense moment for the campmates, as the hosts called out each person’s name.

However, in the end, they announced that the opera singer and soap star would be going.

Speaking to the pair after their exit, Jessica told the hosts: ‘It feels like we’ve been in that castle and it’s been in our home, what feels like forever but at the same time it’s gone so quick.

‘I feel like I have given it my all, my main thing is I never wanted to quit, I am a bit of a scaredy-cat and I’m just really proud that I didn’t quit.’

Addressing her overcoming her fears, Jessica added: ‘Little things like, not being able to have a private shower, being in all the smoky clothes, it’s so far from my comfort zone.’

Talking about how he was feeling about his time in the castle, Russell explained: ‘It’s emotional really, it just reminds me of what a good time we had in there and how brilliant everyone’s been.’

‘It felt difficult going in late because you feel like everybody has established a relationship but they welcomed us in straight away.’

As the show concluded, hosts Ant and Dec went on to ask who they wanted to win the series.

‘I would love to watch Giovanna win this year,’ Jessica added. While Russell said: ‘I’d like AJ to win it, but I think Shane will pip it.’

Last night, journalist Victoria Derbyshire and soap star Beverley Callard were both booted from the camp.

Sunday night’s episode saw West End star Ruthie Henshall leave the series, while Paralympian Hollie Arnold was voted out last week.

The final is just days away, but who will be crowned the winner?

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
