PLENTY of us took up bad habits during lockdown – and that includes James Arthur.
The Impossible singer was blowing close to £200 an hour after getting hooked playing online poker, smoked weed and ate too much.
In a candid interview, James explained: “At the beginning of lockdown I was deep in the PokerStars app.
“I was entering $500 tournaments every couple of hours, just sitting on that app all day.
“I deleted the app for a little while as I sensed I was getting a bit carried away.”
The singer also turned to cannabis to cope with the stress of the pandemic.
James, who will release new album It’ll All Make Sense In The End on October 8, said: “I was a bit of a wreck. I started smoking weed heavily again.
“I started eating irresponsibly as I thought, ‘no one is going to see me for ages’.

“It wasn’t until halfway through lockdown I got off my arse and went out for runs and started making music again.
“Maybe Resilience is the name of my next album.”
