KATIE Price has signed up to appear on the next series of Celebrity MasterChef, The Sun can reveal.
The star has joined the 2021 series and started filming this week.
A source said: “Katie’s really excited for people to see a different side to her – she’s actually a really good cook, and wants to show off her kitchen skills.
“She won’t crumble under the pressure of cooking for Gregg Wallace and John Torode, because she has to cook for five fussy kids every night!”
Katie’s return to prime time TV follows her BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey & Me, which followed the former model’s journey to choose a specialist college for disabled son Harvey, 18.
The Sun previously revealed that Katie is also filming a documentary that sees her train to work with paramedics as a voluntary emergency responder.
A former Loose Women panellist, Katie previously appeared on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! twice – in 2004 and 2009 – and won Celebrity Big Brother in 2015.
She’s also appeared in 17 reality series with ex husband Peter Andre, and quit her reality show My Crazy Life, with TV channel Quest Red, last year after three series.
Last year's Celebrity Masterchef was won by Irish broadcaster and activist Riyadh Khalaf.
He overcame Olympic hockey player Sam Quek and Olympic rowing legend Sir Matthew Pinsent in the final.
Of his victory, he said: “I am absolutely in shock. I can’t believe it, it’s an incredible feeling.
"This show I have been watching since I was in school and to have gone from being a fan of the show to winning the thing – this is without a doubt the biggest achievement of my life.”
