Love Island 2019: Curtis Pritchard sends fans into frenzy over water bottle gaffe

The temperature is hotting up in the Love Island villa after Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard’s shock re-coupling with with Amy Hart and Lucie Donlan.

However, Curtis’ decision to spilt up Amy and Anton Danychuk isn’t the only thing getting to fans talking as his water bottle appears to spell out a very rude word.

Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard’s brother, has found his name looks slightly different when its printed using Love Island’s signature font.

The type face joins up the letters of Curtis’ name which means the ‘R’ looks more like an ’N’ causing the professional dancer’s name to transform into a swear word.

Fans of the show were quick to pick up on the blunder and took to Twitter to comment on the unfortunate appearance of his name.

One said: “Is Curtis going to get his own Love Island Water Bottle? Not sure his name works… #LoveIsland.”

“THIS IS WHAT CURTIS’S BOTTLE IS GONNA LOOK LIKE OH NO #loveisland,” another added.

Other viewers commented on Curtis’ first day in the villa and praised the new arrival.

“Curtis has the purest heart and soul on love island , giving all the boys pep talks and all, I love himmm,” one tweeted.

A second wrote: “Curtis #LoveIsland is a sweetheart calls them ladies and dances latin and ballroom.”

“I’m rooting for Curtis and Amy to go all the way to the final #Love Island,” remarked a third.

Last night’s show saw Tommy and Curtis make the tough choice of choosing who they wanted to couple up with and Tommy’s decision in particular ruffled a few feathers.

Curtis grew closer to Amy and Yewande Biala but ultimately he picked Amy who he described as having a lot in common with.

Tommy controversially chose Lucie who had declared she was happily paired up with Joe Garratt earlier in the show.

With Tommy and Lucie going on their first date tonight, could she change her mind and decide to make a go of things with the boxer?

Meanwhile with the new series well under way, last year’s star Eyal Booker has defended the show’s aftercare support.

Sharing his thoughts on the show with, Eyal confessed: “You kind of know what you’re getting yourself into and you’ve got to kind of prepare of yourself for that.”

“The interesting thing is it might not lead to what you expect it to.

“There’s people that don’t go in there for very long and maybe thought they were going to get something more out of it than they did so it’s a risk you take.”

Defending the ITV show’s aftercare, Eyal said: “The Love Island team prepare you as much as you can but they’re not there to babysit you.”

Love Island airs weeknights on ITV2 at 9pm.
