Love Island contestants to roast in 45C temperatures this week as Spain issues terrifying weather warning | The Sun

LOVE Island contestants are set to roast in 45C temperatures this week.

Spain has issued a terrifying weather warning with a rare heatwave expected over the coming days.

Forecasters have predicted the heatwave will start in southwestern Europe and gradually spread into Western Europe this week.

Love Island is filmed in a villa on the Spanish island of Majorca in a six-bed rustic £2.57million retreat.

It boasts the famous firepit which is used for eliminations and an outdoor kitchen.

And luckily for the singletons, there's a 20 metre swimming pool to help them cool down.

They're set to experience the hottest temperatures ever from the "very intense" heatwave.

A "strong and persistent" heat dome is set to take over France and Spain thanks to a cloud of hot air coming from North Africa, Yahoo reports.

The heatwave makes this month the hottest June in over 20 years, as forecasters say summertime begins earlier than it used to.

Meanwhile on Love Island, temperatures will soar in the Hideaway tonight with the first stay of the series.

The Hideaway, where selected Islanders get to be intimate away from prying eyes, is decked out in pink furnishings, rose petals, and a huge bed surrounded by gold lanterns.

And things soon get "spicy" for the couple as they discuss their fantasies.
