Love Island's Davide leaves Ekin-Su reeling with unbelievably romantic gesture tonight | The Sun

DAVIDE Sanclimenti will surprise Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu with a beautiful gesture that will leave her stunned.

In a teaser for tonight's episode, fans will see that as the Islanders get ready for the evening Davide is planning a surprise for Ekin-Su, with a homemade tiramisu.

Whispering to Dami in the bedroom, he says: “I am prepping the tiramisu for Ekin, so you need to bring the tiramisu.”

As night falls, Davide asks Ekin-Su to head to the mini fire pit as she laughs and says: “Oh no, not the fire pit.”

Davide replies: “Why not, it’s our place.”

Sitting down, Davide goes on to tell her: “I wanted to bring you here because this is the place where we had our first kiss.”

Gesturing to Dami who heads towards them holding the tiramisu, Davide tells her: “I prepared something nice, an Italian tiramisu.”

It's not yet clear why Davide is doing this romantic gesture, but it might be to make up for the fact he did not back Ekin-Su during a row with her love rival Nathalia Campos.

The Italian failed to back her up in a surprisingly bitter row over pineapple pizza in Friday's episode.

Ekin-Su tried to draw a dividing line between her and Nathalia last night – but it backfired.

She asked the Brazilian: "Which pizza do you like?" with her replying, looking over at Davide: "Italian pizza is the best pizza."

When pressed which type she enjoyed, Nathalia added: "Not the ones with the pineapple."

She hit back with a smile: "Aw, that's a shame, me and Davide like the pineapple ones."

Seizing the victory, Nathalia said: "That's an offence, right? We don't do that, babes. They don't do that."

Twisting the knife a little she added: "Are you trying to say you like it just to please him?"

Ekin-Su replied quietly: "No" while Luca Bish tried to take some of the heat off adding: "Pineapple on pizza for an Italian is wrong."

However, fans insist Davide should not have contradicted her and just played along so she didn't look silly.

One tweeted: "Davide saying he doesn’t like pineapple pizza and Gemma saying she prefers Nathalia’s pancakes. None of Ekin’s closest even back her."

Either way, Ekin-Su should enjoy her sweet treat as show bosses have put six stars in the firing line ahead of a shock dumping.

With the final less than a week away now, producers have plotted a massive clearout of the cast.

Tonight, the remaining Love Island stars are given the unhappy news that the public have been voting for the most compatible couple.

As always, the Islanders with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the villa on the spot.

Viewers will see the grim-faced stars called to the firepit where they are shown huddled around the seats in their couples.

The three couples with the fewest votes and then asked to stand before their fellow Islanders at the front.

With Laura Whitmore now back in the UK to front spin-off show Aftersun, a text message will reveal who goes.

In a rare departure from the usual end-of-show cliffhangers, ITV say there will be a dumping tonight – with those involved sent packing right away.

With 16 Islanders left on the show and the final set to air on Monday night, the villa's exit is going to be busy in the coming days.

The final is normally contested between four couples, meaning eight people will have to leave before then.

Elsewhere in tonight's episode the stars are split into two teams – with Gemma Owen in charge of one and Paige Thorne the other.
