Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) is continuing to learn more about her serial killer father, John Stape, in Coronation Street.
It started a few weeks ago, when the young girl decided to use the book about her dad to try and make friends at Weathy High School.
Hope started organising readings of extracts, signing copies and selling books, but things went slight awry when she overheard her classmates being mean and decided to re-enact Charlotte Hoyle’s murder to scare them away.
Of course, part of the reason why Hope is doing all of this is to get revenge on Tyrone (Alan Halsall), who promised her the book wouldn’t be published with her name in – which was a promise he could not keep.
As Hope has put her plan into place, she has grown incredibly interested in the life her dad had and next week, she hides away and listens to a tape all about him – and Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Ty have no idea.
But just how far is this going to go?
Maybe she is becoming a mini John Stape after all?
